  FAQ  COVID -19

While we cannot both be open to the public and also prevent 100% of all germs from spreading, we are proud and confident in the policies and procedures we have put in place that meet or exceed all government recommendations and CDC guidelines. For these precautions to be as effective as possible, it will require the support and participation of the entire Peach County Gymnastics community.

Maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all of our students and families is going to take work and cooperation from our staff, athletes, and parents. We need every family to do their part to practice good hygiene, follow our policies and procedures, and be patient and a supportive of our athletes and coaches during this time. This is a stressful, unprecedented and challenging situation for all of us. It is important to remember we all share the same goal: a safe return of our children’s lives to a sense of normalcy.

PCG has been working on creating protocols by specific guidance from USA Gymnastics, our governing body. They have developed a very detailed “Safe Re-Integration of Gymnastics Guide”. PCG has been utilizing a team approach as a collaborative effort within every part of this pandemic, USA Gymnastics CEO Li Li Leung and their re-integrating staff which includes health and wellness professionals, programing staff, USAG coaches, and a medical staff. Guidance from all of these places has aided us in developing a safe plan for opening our facility.

Using these resources as well as the CDC guidelines, PCG has created a customized and comprehensive set of policies and procedures during and after the opening process. Each phase has different amounts of precaution and risk management.  All our planning is subject to change at a moment's notice with the ever changing situation.

How do I know when my child is ready to move to a different class?

This is an exciting program that PCG offers to all its recreational gymnastic students. You will have an app that allows you to see the progress your child makes. Each new skill gets evaluated and entered into our system so parents can track there childs progress and be a part of their amazing accomplishments here at PCG. As your child completes each level and moves up they will receive a certificate and along the way will see all the goals that they have reached! We want each individual athlete to see and feel their accomplishments each week.
